I was born on the island of Puerto Rico. When I was about 7 years old my family and I moved to New York City. From an early age I showed a great interest in drawing. One of my early drawings was that of my mother's portrait, based on a photograph of her when she was 18 years old. In my teens I began to explore painting--giving most of my work as gifts to friends. It was not until later in life when I pursued painting more seriously.

I love creating realistic pieces of art. When viewing some of my landscape work, many have expressed how they feel drawn into my paintings--imagining themselves there. As an artist that is the highest compliment one can ever hope to receive.

With the continued support of my loving husband and daughter, who have always believed in my talent, I hope to continue creating pieces of art that will captivate and inspire the imagination of the viewer.
