Height 18" x Width 14" x Depth 0.8" Year Produced: Unknown Inventory ID CS_0042 Status: All Galleries Price: $1,100.00 ![]() Narrative: This old country lane winds down to a neighbors home on a natural spring. The ducks keeper ensures that they are safe from coyotes and get their daily quantities of vegetables and grains. Here we see John Wayne and Bambi out for their daily stroll. A Testimonial The "Ducks" are in a very nice painting. They got to me! Growing up in rural Massachusetts, our neighbors on the left had chickens; and, our neighbors on the right had two ducks. I liked the chickens because I could scare them, and found that great fun. Those damn ducks on the other hand would chase me out of their yard and half way into my own yard. They were always together, and always hating me! I never thought I would see those ducks again, but there they were in your painting, only this time, they represented something different. They were just a couple, committed to each other, going through life, no matter what, side by side, "gettin somethin" to eat. Yeah man; it don't get better than that. Pete Foley ![]() |
