Marlene Kinser Bell
Professional Artist

From a very early age Marlene loved to draw. Born in the peaceful beauty of a rural Wisconsin farm.

When she was 12 years old, her family moved to
California and later to the rugged terrain of Oregon. These places heavily influenced her. Preoccupied with art at an early age, she sought out local art classes in every town she lived.

Her discovery of oils changed her life. Oil painting allowed her to put to canvas the beauty that surrounded her in a way that was very natural for her.

As an adult, Marlene moved to Florida and began study under two award winning master quality artists.

Marlene found a flexibility with her instructors that inspired confidence to try other mediums such as watercolor and pastel. Using photos she collected over the years and scenes from her childhood imagination, Marlene creates paintings intended to convey dramatic emotion.

"I paint places I want to escape into, "stated Marlene. "I create paintings that are a window into my imagination. These are scenes that I would love to be able to just walk into and escape from this world into the one I've just created."

Designed to inspire or to make the viewer relax, Marlene loves to capture various moods in her work. Whether it's a peaceful beach, or
an electrically charged lightning storm, Marlene threads thought provoking stories through-out her work, that only can be discovered with a thoughtful review of each of her paintings.

Marlene is a member of the Artist League of Orange County Florida. Her works have been shown in many public venues, galleries and events in Central Florida.

She has won many accolades and awards. Marlene donates many of her works to causes that benefit the community.
